Bulletin from Dr. Smith

"Ane style to become the most out of life is to look upon it as an adventure." – William Feather

What an adventure this week has been! We began with a cautious awareness around masking, and then we moved to celebrating numerous Senior Nights and at present we are ending the week with an excitement over the anticipation of another wintery weekend. Throughout this week, we have appreciated the support and collaboration that our staff, students, and community have provided to allow us to "Keep the Main Thing, the Main Thing" during these life events. Due to your support and positive energy, we were able to focus our efforts on teaching, learning, and supporting our students and staff throughout the calendar week.

This week has proven that when we are transparent in our deportment and piece of work to engage and collaborate with all stake holders, we are more than successful in achieving our vision and mission of making our school more Connected, Adjustable, Resilient, and Engaging. We expect frontwards to continuing and deepening our partnership between the schoolhouse and customs as we know this is how nosotros will continue to movement forrard in achieving our ultimate goal of all our Bruins having what they need to thrive in a dynamic earth.

We look forwards to sharing and gathering your input as we outset to program for adjacent year.

United as Bruins,

Daniel W. Smith, Ed.D.

Our Bruin guardian thru the years!  Bruin was built by a senior, Chris Goutos, (Class of 1983) and several teachers.  Information technology originally started equally an art projection to design a public art sculpture!  Goutos added the ii cubs in later years.  Tin can you lot believe this old bruin is made of chicken wire, plywood, reinforced rods, plastic jugs, concrete and diverse junk--and of course many layers of paint!  We think the erstwhile Bruin looks pretty proficient for their age, but perhaps a bit tired and looking for retirement plans as they approach the big 4-0.
